You gotta love the comments. Two people were shot by blow darts, what that has to do with being on a bicycle is beyond me.
2 Seattle bicyclists shot with darts in Ballard neighborhood
How about this story? What's this world coming to?

Attempted murder--life in prison. Though, the suspect will probably get away with minimal punishment.
Again, read the comments. It turns into an argument about laws and annoying cyclists. A man was shot with his child nearby for no reason at all, have some sympathy. Crazy.
And how can a man criticize someone for riding their bike with their child then turn around and shoot them in the head. That's not the purpose of your gun permit. Terrifying.
It also pisses me off how these people who are telling us how dangerous the road is for cyclists are the ones making it dangerous. The road this occurred on has plenty of room for passing a single line of cyclists, change lanes and go around.
that NC incident is insane. somehow this guy was able to get a license to drive and carry a gun. i wonder if either will be revoked

In Delaware.
copycat?
Looks like the Delaware guy has been busy.
Seeing as how one of the victims was a 17 year old who needed hand surgery for the damage, I guessing if they catch the perp, charges will be pretty severe.

Delaware State Police are investigating four attacks in which bicyclists or joggers have been wounded by blow-darts in Wilmington this week.
One victim will need surgery for damage to his hand.
Cpl. Jeff Whitmarsh, a state police spokeman, said the victims were hit by identical 4-inch-long darts.
The series of attacks began about 7:15 p.m. Monday when a 27-year-old woman riding her bicycle on Route 71 in the area of the Red Lion Christian Academy was hit in the lower part of her back with a blow dart, police said.
The woman sought treatement from her primary care doctor.
A little over two hours later, a 17-year-old boy was struck by a blow dart in his left hand while riding his bicycle on Route 40 at Wrangle Hill Road.
He was treated at Christiana Hospital and will require surgery to repair the damage to his hand, police said.
At 10:40 the next morning, a 36-year-old man was riding his bicycle on Route 7 at Ocheltree Lane when a blow dart pierced his leg.
He was treated by his primary care doctor.
Later Tuesday, a 29-year-old woman jogging on Route 7, just north of Route 72, was struck in the calf by a blow dart at about 5 p.m. She, too, sought treatment at her primary care physician.
State police said possible suspect vehicles include a full-size Ford pickup truck, a small white pick up truck, a dark colored pickup truck with two male occupants and a black Mazda 4-door sedan.
Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 800-847-3333.
The one thing I don't understand from the article is that all of these people were treated by their primary care physician. Did they just walk in minutes after the incident, or did they schedule an appointment and then get treated?
Maybe it's because I haven't been to a doctor in ten or more years, but last I recall there was a bit of a wait to see your primary care physician.
Unless they don't have health insurance, in which case primary care physician might be the local hospital emergency room.
