This was a really cool event. I learned lots about old bikes by just going and talking to people.

Annual Antique Bicycle Swap - Jan 22 2012, Days Inn, Butler
It's time for the annual antique bicycle swap. This Sunday Jan 22nd 2012, Days Inn Butler, right on Rt 8. Starts at 8am, normally costs less then $5 to get in. Not huge, lots of balloon tire stuff, some really old stuff, some newer things, some deals, some really high priced collector only pieces.
I have nothing to do with the organizing of this. I just go and try to score a deal or two.

I thought it was a good show with some very nice people from Pittsburgh Ohio New York and from all over.I bought 15 or so Bikes for the Bike Museum.I found some very nice orig Schwinn and Raleigh Road Bikes and some NOS Vintage boxed items.A few out of State Collectors came to the Museum on Sat and off to the Bike Show, two guys all the way from TX stoped by,WOW its getting better every year,,,,,Bicycle Heaven will have a bike show / swap this Sept 16 on a Sunday this year,,hope to see you all and great for bike collectors,,bike shop owners and anyone who likes Bicycles.This will take place right off of the North Shore Bike trail at Bicycle Heaven the new Bike Museum,,, I can see that Pittsburgh has a lot more Bike Collectors and Rat Rod builders more than ever.It was just great with the younger kids getting into this.I remember years back when i first got into this not many collectors around here in Burgh.I know so many who bought that first old Antique Bike from me years back now have a few to many bikes,,,,it was fun at the show and was nice talking to you all,hope to see you at Sawp / Bike Show here in Pittsburgh,,,
