anyone know of a coffee thermos that fits in a water bottle cage?

without modification. i know of the one that comes with a special mount. i just want one that fits in a standard water bottle cage and keeps stuff hot for a long time.

well i unfortunately got the eleven gear coffee thermos.

i like that it holds a lot, around 22 oz, and keeps the coffee really hot for a long time.

that's almost a problem tho, because it comes with no cup, only a top that is like a traditional water bottle. this is extremely silly because you either a) have to bring along a second cup if you actually want to drink it hot, or b) wait a real long time to be able to safely drink it from the nozzle. then, once it's at a safe temp, it cools really quickly afterwards.

also, i don't really see the need to sip on coffee while i'm actually riding. i would think most people would want to ride, get somewhere sweet, then chill, look at the view and drink some hot black gold.

but, that really isn't a big deal to me, cause for the most part, i want it for either long rides, or transporting coffee from one place to another, not really for having on short rides.

my real complaint is the top, and the threads on it. the threads are really thin, and run the risk of stripping out really easily if you happen to over tighten it. the lid also softens up when hot liquids are put into it. once this happens, the vessle becomes straight up dangerous. i had hot coffee in it, then turned it upside down over the sink to test it, and the pressure release shot the top off into the sink, slightly burning my hand. as soon as i got it, i was skeptical because it had a warning to not tighten the lid too much. i feel like if you need to tell people that, there's something wrong with your design.

if it just had a normal thermos top with a cup, it would be the perfect thermos, but they tried to bike-ify it making it kinda suck.

also, i'm having trouble getting over the fact that it looks like a dog dick
