Best GPS Android App

I've used Endomondo, MapMyRide, and Google Tracks, however, none of them offer turn-by-turn directions. They offer routes that appear on your screen on the map, but I want the voice like a GPS navigation system would give you. My Google Maps app will do it, but then I won't be tracking my ride unless I run two GPS apps at once which I don't want to do. Does anyone know any good apps for this? Any chance there is an app out there that is compatible with ridewithgps, so I can load up those routes?

Do you also need to be able to follow a predefined route (like from a gpx file)?

Yes, that is exactly what I'm looking for. My current app I have been using Endomondo (so I add miles for Pittsburgh in the national bike challenge) will display my route I create on the map, but it won't give me turn-by-turn direction either via cue sheet, audible chimes when it is time to turn, nor voice directions (like a GPS in a car). It makes it real hard to follow my route if I don't have something to go off of. Trying to stare at a little map while riding has caused me to miss a few turns.

What do you have against running two apps at a time? It ain't no iPhone...

Because I like having access to my stats such as trip time, mileage traveled, calories burned, etc... Plus I worry running two GPS apps at once could drain the battery extra quick.

Also, I would like to us things such as GPX files instead of having to make a Google Maps directions file manually to use with Google Maps Navigation.

That is kind of what I'm looking for, but I was hoping to find something like that integrated in with an app like Endomondo or MapMyRide. It seems I can either track my ride or get turn-by-turn directions. I'm having trouble finding an app that does both.

MapMyRide is one of the most robust of the gps cycling apps. If they added this feature and charged for it, it would probably be the best one out there. I'm not holding my breath for that though.

I could be mistaken, but I believe that most of your power consumption in that case is just having the GPS receiver powered on; running two apps that use the location data from the receiver shouldn't drain appreciably more power than one.

Now, Is there an equivalent to the cue sheet app for iphone?

I still wouldn't mind the convenience of having all the features in one app. If that app exists. I put in a suggestion with Endomondo. It made me feel better even though they will never read it lol.
