probikekit.com — British store, but still had the cheapest price for Gatorskin tires despite shipping them from England free & in under a week. There is a button to make the store in dollars.

qbike.com is a metasearch for bike stuff. You can search for something and see prices from most online stores as well as ebay auctions.

I frequent Nashbar. Some of their deals are impossible to beat. Also, they are always sending me coupons. I also have shopped from:

www.bikeisland.com - not a huge selection, but good prices and free shipping.

www.pricepoint.com - mainly mountain, but some road stuff

www.benscycle.net - very good selection of fixed gear stuff

Although, recently I try to buy from local shops to help the local economy.

Something about Chainlove and Bonktown seems weird. Are those link referral pages?

Ben's Cycle is an actual store in Milwaukee, I've been there... Though I think they may do most of their business online at this point.

ndromb: They're all supplied by backcountry.com, which they started steepandcheap.com years ago and branched out into specific categories, like cycling, snowboarding, etc. No referral links, its all the same company.

I am all for supporting local businesses since I am involved in two local retailers. I always try to buy locally, but sometimes deals online are just unbeatable. I will buy locally if it's 20% or so more than online for things under $50.

However, much passed that, I will buy online. I wont pay 30%-50% more for things, and I wouldn't expect any of my customers to either.
