Bike Insurance (coming soon?)

I know it came up in a recent thread, but I couldn't find it, and the search function only returned results from three years ago.

On a mailing list it was recently mentioned that the Better World Club seems to be (might be?) soon offering a bike insurance program? Couldn't find too many details, but here is their page (proposed pricing looks reasonable):

I wonder what their rates are for bikes above $1500 and how they would compare to my insurance now. I believe it is less than $50 a year for me for ~$3000 now. A far extreme I believe of their intended target but who knows.

It was on http://bike-pgh.org/bbpress/topic/potholes-exhibit-a. I found a site that offered bicycle insurance (spokeinsurance.com) but it turned out not in PA. The best option in PA seems to be to get a personal injury rider to your homeowners/renter's insurance. If you have motorist's insurance you don't need it assuming you choose the right options (see http://bike-pgh.org/blog/2011/03/14/protect-yourself/).

BTW that's for damage caused by you. Your homeowner's/renters insurance will cover your bike against theft, check policy for coverage, and add a rider if necessary.

Homeowners will cover some but I have used both, unfortunately, to cover stolen bikes and the individual policies kick major ass.
