if he's willing to sell the wheel separately, maybe he already sold the rear wheel. kids crave flip flop hubs like muffin tops these days.

The guy knows all about the bike specs. The chain has been taken off, so if he stole it sans rear wheel, at least he knew enough to take the chain off, and had a chain tool. I don't know how many crack heads would know the first thing about removing a bicycle chain. I don't see anything suspicious.
