My wife was across the river headed back from the liquor store, rolled up to a very fresh accident. She is guesses a car turned in front of the cyclist, not sure if it was a right or left.
Cyclist was up and moving, police on scene when she left. Younger guy, with cycling garb and a helmet. Unsure of lighting situation. Driver may have been on the scene still, not sure.

Yikes! I'll be riding that way in an hour or two... That's on my commute route. Cars tend not to signal when turning right onto Delafield. I assume the rider was heading toward Aspinwall from the Waterworks since there is little opportunity for a tangle going the other way (Delafield ends at Freeport).
He was on Freeport, headed away from Waterworks.
According to news reports the biker slammed into a stopped car that was waiting to make a left turn. The rider told police he had been at the hospital earlier that day for a injuries he suffered in another bike mishap.
