It's a good way to get practice repairing tires.

Good sew-ups give an incredible ride, if you have the option it would be great for a "Sunday morning" set of wheels, or if you're actually racing, but there is no way you would want to deal with the flats and repairs on an everyday set of wheels. It would be horrendous.

I have them on my race bike but I would be leery about using them on the street. While they do eliminate the risk of pinch flats, which is admittedly the cause of most of my commuting flats, if they pick something up its not a quick fix. Yes you can pre-set the glue but its not a fast process. There are also the "fix-a-flat" type sealants but those can turn into a huge mess. On a side note, gluing a tubular is something a lot of people cant do correctly so if you commuted on them you could definitely hone those skills.

I'd save tubulars for racing or long road rides. When quick fix and convenience is key, stick with clinchers with flat protection and / or tire liners and check your air pressure EVERY DAY before you ride to help avoid pinch flat issues.

So, essentially the verdict is: They're great if you want to practice repairing them. :D I'll stick with my beloved tubes.

A little bit heavier. You can put a lot air in it -- there is no pressure on a rim so unlike clincher you should not to worry if rim is not going to crack because of extra air in tube.

Good clinchers ride better than bad tubulars. As light and as supple. You dont want to ride good tubulars or regular roads unless you know how to patch them. I have 7 pairs of tubular wheels and none for the race this weekend because gluing is such a pain.
