Yo gang,
Fixing to bike down to Ohiopyle this weekend for some fun in the water and a helluva brew fest (http://wilderness-voyageurs.com/beer-and-gear.html).
Looking to leave the Southside around noon on Friday, traverse the half finished trails through Waterfront to McKeesport and continue from there, returning on Sunday at some point.
Anybody heading that way and wanna ride together or wanna tag along for some or all of it and same on the way back? We won't be flying, but should keep a decent pace. There's two of us right now. Might even have a spot or two left at the campsites if you wanna sleepover.
Also, any recommendations, new openings of the trail between here and McKeesport/Boston?

ah, so *that's* why there were almost no campsites left. I'm headed there with family, but driving (first camping trip with the dog). Thanks for the heads up on the crowd, and have a lovely ride & weekend 
oh, Steelvalley trail official opening is at 10:30AM or so on the 17th, look at the thread http://bike-pgh.org/bbpress/topic/steel-valley-trail-1 . Should be able to park at Waterfront for the whole trip.
