bob or kiddie trailer?

Thinking about doing the ride to dc from da burgh. Instead of shelling out the money for a bob could i use my childs walmart trailer to haul with? what would be some pros and cons as I'm not familiar at all with the bob trailers. Thanks

I have had my BOB for several years, I haul everything with it. I have hauled 57 pounds of scrap metal to be recycled. With weight in the BOB, it is a little tougher to keep the bike going straight up a steep hill and starting off on a hill is even tougher especially with clipless shoes, you better have some Granny gears. I bought mine online for over $100 cheaper than a bike shop. The load must not move around or that will throw you off balance.

Brad- do you (or anyone else for that matter) have anyt pics of info on the kiddie trailer that you converted? I have a spare trailer and think that I may want to convert it to more of a utility trailer as well. thanks for any help
