Yes, everyone put this on your calendars if at all possible! Tell your friends and relatives. Tell your enemies too. August 20. There are 2 ride routes designed for rides in the evening, an easy 7.5 mile toodle around the nooks and crannies of Carnegie including historical points - Honus Wagners house! A revolution era cemetery!

And a more difficult 8 mile hill climb course into the surrounding hills for the hot-shots.

I personally laid out the ride routes, so come and decide for yourself whether I am the Arnold Palmer or the Carl Spackler of course design. Let's turn this place into Carlessnegie.

Anyone caring to bus back Downtown instead of ride, here is a chart of when buses return to the city after 6pm. On the positive side, there are quite a few trips, even late into the evening.

But, of course, you board these three routes in altogether different places. Evening buses can be expected to be 40-footers, with a 3-in-4 chance of having a rack.

Get the G1 at the end of the West Busway.

Get the G2 at Bell Station on the West Busway. These go to Oakland.

Get the 31D on Washington at Academy.

That said, here's the weekday evening inbound timetable, sorted by departure time. (Sorry, if I knew how to make it a table or fixed-width font, I would. It looks great in the editing window.)

I suggest getting a bus at Bell Station. That way you can get G1, G2, and even 28X, whichever comes first. The 28X is only through September 5th, when PAT will reimpose stop restrictions on it. But it's still worth the short trip from Carnegie Station to Bell, even with just G1 and G2 to choose from.

(Also, note that as of September 5, the G1 will no longer serve Carnegie Station, but the G2 will instead. But they'll both still serve Bell.)
