Cyclist hit on Forward Ave. 6/4
WPXI news announced that a teen cyclists was hit around 3:30pm on Forward ave.
Nothing listed on their site yet. I hope it's not too serious.

It was a kid on a group training ride with PYL who lost control going down the hill. He crashed, and his momentum carried him into a car headed uphill that fortunately wasn't moving very fast. I was one of the last to go down the hill so I didn't see it, but that was the gist of it.
He didn't appear to be badly injured and was taken to the hospital out of an abundance of caution more than anything. I'm waiting for an update, but I expect that he'll be OK.

Yeah, this one was definitely an accident. The driver did everything right and stuck around. He looked so shaken up...I definitely feel for him.
The kid is expected to be fine. All in all, it turned out about as well as these things can.
