Not a lot of details are available at this time, but WPXI reports that a cyclist was killed riding on Stanton in East liberty on friday. Condolences to the friends and family of that poor individual. Edited to clarify that he was hit about 1 a.m. on Saturday morning.

All local news are reporting the same thing. They performed CPR, but the cyclist died. I am so sorry to hear this. My thoughts go out to his family and all the knew him. Very sad news. Driver stayed on scene. People are driving too fast on our city streets.

Cyclist has been identified as William Theisen, or Willie T. Donations being accepted at Literacy Pittsburgh in lieu of flowers. His obit makes him sounds like an incredible guy....and a clearly street savvy cyclist. He leaves a wife behind.

Is there any more information on where this has gone legally? I have not seen or heard anything since the memorial ride. I am particularly curious as I am progressing through a court case where I was intentionally run off the road.
