Would be good if those impacted by the bike attacks or interested in bike infrastructure in those neighborhoods could turn out, especially if you live/vote in Dist 9. I have no idea what the bike parking is like @ St Bedes...

Cops on Tall Bikes. I nominate Nick as the unofficial official City of Pittsburgh Tall Bike Enforcement Committee Chairperson.
All kidding aside, this would be an excellent opportunity for Bike-PGH, freeride and others to work with the kids in the neighborhood. Get them bikes, teach them to build and maintain them, as well as ride them safely. You give the kids a vehicle (pun intended) to exhaust all that youthful, sugar-fueled energy, and they won't be hanging out at all hours of the night.
Like the handful of kids that we picked up on the FOC through Larimer and Wilkinsburg. I don't know if their parents were aware, but the kids had a good time and I'm sure the kids got home safe - didn't hear any Amber Alerts...
