I was going through serious message board withdrawal.
The message board still isn't working right for me. I can get to individual threads from "Latest from the Forums" on the bike-pgh home page, but clicking Resources/Message Board shows no list of forums. Clearing bike-pgh cookies didn't help.
Board's again working fine for me. Thanks to whoever fixed it!
when i first tried to go to the board on friday, i got some kind of message like "we're going to be working over the weekend to upgrade to a more reliable board system", but i couldn't get that message to come back later, i just got a page with no topics listed.
so, i don't know what was really going on? maybe they had to abandon the upgrade? maybe the whole thing was a red herring? erok?
Erica/RubberFactory reported it on FB, I verified it on my own machines, and sent erok an email around 9 or 10 this morning. Seems to have cleared up, not sure when or why.

that made me think it was intentional so I didn't email erok or scott - although I did think it was a bit odd that they would do that with no prior notice, and on friday night.
Well, one thing I like about this message board is that there are opportunities to actually meet and ride with some of the regular posters. So, when the Ultimate Internet Armageddon finally happens, I have some hopes of their being a back-up community IRL. A fb crash will be another matter altogether.
Will we ever find out what happened?
