Yes. I may not get out of work until 5, but I could meet Around 6pm.
Ps- your gravatar looks like a few long, thin adam's apples
Since this is a non-Flock night – anyone up for an early evening slow paced ride?
It’s going to be a full moon…

I am planing to dedicate the day to my neglected motorcycle, so I probably won't make it. If anyone wants to pick up one of the Flock stereos, they are welcome to.
I'd be up for that ride; I also get done with work at 5, so 6 would work well for me.
I might be up for a ride if it's actually leisurely, unlike last Sunday where we were huffing it to keep up with Lyle and Mark for that "leisurely" ride
I didn't know Sunday was supposed to be leisurely.
hahaha it was a perfect first group ride for me! :p
Lets plan on meeting at Dippy at 6:30pm, that will give everyone a chance to grab something to eat before we head out. We'll taylor the route & speed depending on who shows up - but definitely NO DROP - so come join us.
Bummer, Im at work till 730
FYI thick is having a ride that starts at the shop at 6pm and they are planning on riding river trails. What are your thoughts on starting there instead?
Edit: chris will be riding the pennyfarthing.
I may come if I'm not doing anything else. I'd be down for some river trails with Thick. Or whatever.
I'm open to whatever, but someone make the decision by 4pm.
I'm in, i have nothing to do all day, for once.Sooo...Thick or Dippy?
Oh man, a pennyfarthing...
Tonight is also a downtown gallery crawl.
I may not be able to make either of the rides cause I am still at work for a while, so I don't want to decide.
I plan on being at dippy at 6:30pm. We will ride down to the river trails and try and find Chris and the pennfarthing. So either way we should all have a good time!
Just finding out about this at 8p. Crap. Beautiful night for a ride, too.
It was a great night for a ride. We ended up chasing Chris and his phantom pennyfarthing across Pittsburgh (Southside to Downtown to North Side to Strip to Southside) only to find out they'd put it away right before we got there. Still, fantastic night for a ride.
Well, that was interesting. Instead of following the Dino ride up the River Trail I decided to go parallel on River St. (I generally prefer streets and I'm also mildly neurotic about running over somebody's two-year old.) Coming up on the 16th St. Bridge I see a group of bikers up top. It didn't quite make sense but I concluded they were my ride, so I crossed the bridge and caught up to the group. The people didn't look quite right and, more obviously, there was a pennyfarthing in the lead. The rides must have joined up... but it then dawned on me that I screwed up. Stef was on the Thick ride, and she was on the phone with the other one: it would appear that they had lost someone and were trying to find them. Oops. Fortunately Stef told them that I showed up on the other ride.
Sorry guys. I do want to say that I really appreciate that you were serious about the no-drop thing. Next time I'll just follow the crowd.
^Ha ha, if Stef could give directions we would have been ok. I also thought that you and her were plotting some diabolical new tag for tag-o-rama and wanted to keep us riding in circles. Anyway, it was a good night for a ride.
Haha well the thing was that penny farthing chris said we were taking the north side trail to washington's landing. So we crossed under the 16th St bridge and then got on river ave. Penny farthing chris decided to go back onto the 16th St bridge. I think I misunderstood the chris on your ride about where you were in relation to us and the north side of the 16th St bridge. I didn't realize ahlir and a few others were with us until we were in the strip. And once we got there, I ws told that we were going to continue to the 31st St bridge, but didn't, and went through town.
But anyway, sorry we missed you guys. I think it is hilarious that I keep running into ahlir.
Oh and neither of us knew where that tag was. We looked at the new one but ahlir didn't know at all and I knew I have seen it but couldn't correctly place it. Hidden in plain sight, at the bottom of a mural that I look at a lot when I pass by
I passed the penny farthing bunch on the Smithfield St bridge on my way home from work, but I didn't recognize anyone so I didn't jump in on the ride. Plus my brain was screaming for it's Friday evening beer bath. What spectacular weather, I want to move where it's like this all the time. Or even 51% of the time.
+1 on the weather. I should have taken a clariton and gone out on this. Allergies make me feel so lazy.
I thought that was you, bill! I said hey but that is all cause iI wasn't totally sure. Nothing more awkward than calling someone by the wrong name
Dang! Oh, well.
I thought perhaps you would have recognized my bright blue bike, but I guess the penny farthing was more attention-getting
It was a fun ride regardless! Met a few new people, and ended back at Thick after a much quicker pace than any ride usually go that i am on.Rode from Thick back downtown with a kid that works at Thick? Sorry, i can't remember your name and another older guy.Fun day for sure though!
Was it Adam? Surly fixed gear?
Yeah, it was Adam. I rode back with him too. Was that his dad with him?
Probably. His mom and dad were on the thick ride.
Nice kid! I told him i'd be in to order my new bike Saturday but didn't make it down..Still debating on whether to build one up or order a complete.Since half of the parts/wheels are coming off of it anyway..Sighhh, decisionss.....
I thought that WAS bill in the pic as Santa
Ha, ha!! cool.
