Has anyone biked from Pittsburgh to Michigan? (or nearby)
I've been thinking about riding my bike to visit my friend who lives in Michigan, about an hour South of Detroit.
Does anyone know of any trails through PA/OH/MI that would take me in that direction? Has anyone biked to the area or at least through Ohio?
Any advice/information would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Most of the trip is in Ohio, and parallels the Great Lakes Circle Route around Lake Erie. You can google that route, but it is mostly on US Routes 2 and 6, which are popular trucking alternatives to the Ohio Turnpike. A better resource is http://www.coastalohio.com/explore/ which has an entire section on backroad travel.
