Hypothetical: Pittsburgh to Boston
My cousin lives in Boston, and has brought up the idea of him taking a bus down here, so we can both ride back to B-Town together.
Are there any major trail veins that make this a possibility or am I stitching together roads?

Chemical Dave's route is probably the best for avoiding the hills of teh Alleghenies - old Erie Canal rotue.

i would make a few slight modifications to chemical dave's route (e.g. follow pa route a to erie, rather than 19 the whole way), but other than that, it's as good a route as any. the only problem with the canal trail is that it is soul-crushingly boring. that, and it's along a waterway, so you can expect tons of bugs, 2 problems! (i'll come in again.)
