i have a J & G jacket and i've been happy with it for about 7 years, i doubt it is the breathable one you speak of but if you want to try it on anyway let me know. it has been great to me!

J&G breathable rain jacket
Anyone local have one? I am trying to research them a bit, but can't find all that much on them. I am a bit surprised because they are made in the USA instead of being shipped all the way from China like about everything else is. I wish I could try a jacket on. I know I will be a large or x-large. I am a large with china's Shower Pass and china's REI brand. If these run a bit small that might make me go xl. Thanks for any help.

Blast, I wish I had known about that competitor; my Shower's Pass Club Jacket isn't especially breathable, I wonder how the J&G jacket compares

I would be interested to hear how the thing works out. Lost too much weight to make the Showers Pass work but the eVent fabric was unreal.

Showers Pass is from China, so to be honest it probably won't work for me. I am tired of that shipping/fuel/crap! I really would love to get into more local stuff. Sure Oregon is pretty far, but it isn't China! I need to give that a go.
