Lost: White work ID

Ever have one of those weeks? Lost my work ID off a lanyard today on the commute in, same details as the lost blinky. Probably somewhere in Oakland, down Bates, Second Ave connector to EFT, EFT, maybe Downtown. It's white, if found please PM or return to the Capitol Police. Thanks in advance for reading and keeping an eye out. I'm seriously debating using hook and loop fasteners for everything I own and load on the bike at this point.

I lost a pair of keys a few months ago myself. Before that I've lost two pairs of cycling glasses, a long sleeve jersey, a hoodie, a head of green leaf lettuce, an MP3 player which got ran and paved over. Probably more stuff I'm forgetting :/

As I was cycling into work alongside you, I didn't have my badge :) Found mine, thankfully just in a stupid place at my desk. I'll be sure to let you know if I see yours.

Thanks guys, @Pierce at least I'm somewhat comforted by the fact that I'm not the only one dropping gear all over the place, though I'm sorry for everyone's lost gear. @byogman Thanks...sheesh, I'm leaving a trail of stuff through the East End.

Hey, JZ - at least you aren't using a trail of useful stuff, the way Pierce is. I was going to say that I need to start riding in the East End more. But after reading the update from Pierce, I think I need to start riding here he is riding. He leaves behind good stuff...not work ID and parts of other gear.

Rabbits and deers would thank you for this one if they knew how to write. :)

All the gear probably got washed into the Mon, where a primordial proto-cyclist will eventually emerge from the antediluvian murk clutching bits of a B-25 that it will have fashioned into a tall bike. I went back over my path on the way home and didn't find it. My guess is someone picked it up and it will show up in a week or so.

Hey, heard a new (to me) potential solution to the B-25 mystery on a Skeptoid podcast a month or so ago. Dragging pit near J&L site, then silted over. True? Plausible? Or just one more hypothesis? Who knows. But, maybe that is where all Pierce's gear is too.

Just checking in, anyone come across this, perhaps? Keeping hope alive.

I found a white ID on the Eliza Furnace Trail by the Second Avenue lot the other day. J Z, if you are a track coach at Point Park College, campus security has your ID. If not, sorry. I'll keep my eyes open.
