Monster Ohiopyle Mileage Ride
We're riding from Homestead to Ohiopyle and back the Saturday of Mother's day weekend to prepare for our 24 hour Pgh to DC attempt later this year. We'll ride out at 6am to Ohiopyle, grab lunch, and ride home. Dinner and celebratory beers at D's. Join us and do all of it or some of it. It'll be 0-135 miles. We plan to keep up a 15mph pace. No entry fee, no insurance, no waiver, no SAG wagon. Just a bike and a trail.
Start and finish at the GAP TrailHead in Homestead/Waterfront. Leaving at 6am. May 11th, 2013.

Count me in for the return leg, Seth.
I will be wrapping up a 10 day tour back to p-burgh the same weekend. Planning on catching the GAP at around Meyersdale, as I am coming up from west verginnie. I am arriving at the Kentuck Campground In Ohiopyle State Park Friday afternoon, 5/10/13.
It will be fun to ride back with a few folks...

Jim, there will be a 24 Hour Relay on June 14th-15th that will be part of the big celebration. I'm organizing that one, let me know if you're interested. It's totally separate from the 24 hour ride mentioned in my first post.
The 24 hour ride I'm referring to in the first post is one my girlfriend and I cooked up as a tandem adventure for later on in the year. This one wouldn't be a relay for us, just a 24 hour pedal-a-thon. Anyone is welcome to join us on that adventure too. It'll be another unsupported/grass roots effort.
