I was right around there about an hour and a half ago. There are groups of kids like that everywhere out. I saw them in Point Breeze/East Liberty/Lawrenceville/Downtown
North Point Breeze Harassment
While i was riding through the intersection of Thomas/Homewood, I saw 5 older teens on the corner. They pointed at me and whispered something. As I biked past, one of them ran at me, seemed like he was going to kick the tire. i slowed, didn't stop, looked at his face and said, "Don't." in my sturdiest voice. He stopped, but then walked after me for a few steps. I could hear his friends making fun of him as I rode away.
Keep your eyes peeled for these clowns. Wasn't it this same time last year that there was trouble near the co-op for a cyclist?
Did you call 911 and report it?
Up to about 110 degrees crime correlates with temperature. That's science.
Road rage seems to dramatically increase too. That's personal observation.
I agree. Be careful out there. The heat really does makes everyone crazy, including myself.
They don't see themselves in you, so you're a target for menace.
Funny to think of myself as a "target for menace", but i get your point.
