Sorry for your loss, I'd submit a request to the Mayor's 311 line about the maintenance needs of the bike parking area.

Purple Schwinn stolen from East Busway rack
The purple Schwinn I have had since age 12 (I'm more than twice that now) was stolen two weeks ago (late September) from the bike rack on the Shadyside (outbound) side of the busway at the East Liberty stop. The bike parking area there definitely needs maintenance - there is broken glass and an empty shopping cart just sitting there. Black youth-size helmet with flame pattern and red sticker still on it also stolen.
About the bike: toe clips, hybrid, 21 speeds, nothing fancy attached. Steel women's frame, sort of swirly metallic lavender purple.
I called police and Port Authority claims people and have had no response (unsurprisingly).
