Shoe Repair at Palermo
These guys take great care of my Lake winter shoes. Today they repaired them again for free. Nice old couple with two cats, worthy of a little bixness. 6328 Butler St, near the 62nd st bridge. 9-5 hours.

I second mauriceman's sentiments. Palermo fixed 2 pair of shoes for me last year for $5. 1 hour turn-around, no less.
Also agree with erok. I have no idea how anyone can stay in business charging such low rates.

I've heard a rumor he has contracts with the pro teams in the area to repair gear. If that isn't true, this guy is the footwear equivalent of Kraynics.

It's kinda like a couple retired folks sitting in their living room. I think they did it free since it was a re-repair.
