Brakes are good.
Somedays Im just a little slow
Last night I went over to dogsit at a friends house while he is away and I threw my bike into his van, taking the front tire off in order to fit it in the back.
This morning I headed off to ride into town, the first thing was to go down the hill. Halfway down I realized I had not hooked up the front brake. (My only brake)
I did manage to stop but My shoe paid the price.
Wow! Looks like you came close to using up some toe, too.
Hey, I have the same foot/inch calculator. Ha!
@edmonds
Yeah, it was close. im gonna get something to fix the shoe. im thinking silicone caulk or something like that.
Picked up the calc at walmart for 5$ and it is great in my daily work.
Could have been worse - I rode once from Highland Park, down past the zoo, across the Highland Park Bridge to Aspinwall with the quick release undone on my front wheel.
Glad you made it dback!
Been there before! There have also been a few times where my brakes have also just mysteriousely come unhooked....maybe someone is trying to get me?

My brother once borrowed my bike, and I guess got a ride back home with someone, where he took off the front wheel to fit in a car trunk or something. Long story short, I go out on a ride and about a mile into it, realize that he put the wheel back on, with the quick release totally loose.
Matthew Lillard did skate videos? I had no idea.
