I stopped by the Red White and Blue Thrift Store on Route 65 in Avalon. I don't this is this a solution for the original poster, but will add it here anyway....
It is an Alleycat Shadow II tag a long. Sold originally by LL Bean and others, from what I have seen. It is currently priced at $.95 (yes, 95 cents) if I read the tag right.
Here's the iffy part. It appears to be missing the hitch to the front bike. But, it may also be a recalled item for a hitch issue, and therefore, be eligible for a new front hitch from Pacific.
If anyone wants to research it, have at it. Sheldon Brown has something on it, plus the recall information on the hitch is available via google search.
Note that I did not note the two alpha three digit code noted in the recall notice. But, I did take photos of both the tag a long and the front attachment. I figured it might help someone else figure out if they want to buy a tag a long for the price of some research, the front hitch (and a dollar) for the unit.
