Stolen Bike in Bloomfield

My buddie's bike was stolen last night (march 12th) he had it locked outside of Howler's in Bloomfield. He was there less than an hour and someone jacked it between 11 and midnight. Its a Gravity 29er, solid fork, Black frame, disc brake in the front and V in the back. There was also a seat tube mounted rack on it. Less than 3 months old. He said he filed a police report on it, but I'm not sure that they'll do anything about it, I figured this was the best place to go with such issue. If seen please pm me.

Dana, sorry to hear about your friend's bike, I've had it happen and it sucks. I'm sure everyone will keep an eye peeled but in the mean time, could you please post the details concerning what type of lock he had, and if possible, what the thief used to jack the back? I live in fear of someone with a cordless four-inch grinder with a cutting wheel. Thanks...

Dana, I meant to say jack the 'bike'. Thanks. Lou, are you telling me what 'jacked' means? I think you may have misunderstood my request, but thanks.

@ Val, He had a chincey cable lock, something a Parktools cable cutter could snip in less than 2 minutes.

Found a kid's bike at the bottom of a giant hill once, abandoned as soon as the fun downhill part stopped and the uphill part started again. Turned it in, hope it made it back to the young owner, bike thieves suck.

Probably not her friends bike. She said there was a v-brake in the back.
