Stolen Silver Giant

Just wanted to also report my stolen bike. This happened about a month ago at this point, but I just now became familiar with this site. My new silver giant (in top condition, graciously given to me by a coworker only 2 weeks prior) was swiped for my workplace in Shady Side. It was locked and directly in front of the building. We have a front desk window that looks right over this, but it was before anyone had gotten there that day. My bike was stolen between 8:30 and 9:00am in the morning. People are so bold. I think I saw the culprit: I think there were two dudes driving a truck with some weird orange on it. I didn't get a great look at them, but they were hanging out by the entrance of our driveway when I first got to work, and were poised to turn onto Shady Ave. By the time I had locked up my bike and was heading inside, I thought it weird that they hadn't yet turned, but went on inside. When I walked back to the lobby just a half hour later, it was gone. There was even a nice trek bike unlocked, resting against the side of the building, which was completely disregarded.

Wow. How did you have it locked up?

There were a bunch of break-ins and thefts at Mercy Hospital recently, and lots of stolen bikes reported here (although this one was wsome time ago).

I'm wondering if the supply of heroin has been drying up, or what? I understand it was cheap and plentiful the last few years. A sudden change in that might make for a lot of theft.

I found a silver bicycle in my driveway and then, a chain cutters in a backpack, stashed into the bushes behind it, so of course, I have somebody's stolen bike. I reported it to the police but no one has come to claim it. If it's yours, email me with what type of fork your bike has and some distinguishing features.

Someone stole a Blue with Yellow writing Cannondale MTB CAAD from our garage and left a Giant OCR 3. Obviously someone was tired of their old stolen bike and just had to have a new one.

If you think this might be your bike send me some descriptive detail, and hopefully we can reconnect you.
