Supporting Rui Hui Lin's Wife & Child?

In the midst of this tragic incident of Rui Hui Lin being killed on his bicycle is an even more tragic story, he leaves behind a pregnant wife and 5 year old daughter (http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/09217/988590-53.stm). How can we as a community help his wife and child in this time of need? Specifically, I feel that there is a need for a memorial fund or fundraisers to provide some sort of financial stability to his wife and daughter. What are your thoughts and ideas?

I think this is a very touchy subject. I think there also may be some cultural things to consider too.

I don't think it's a bad idea. If someone wants to take the lead on this, I can provide some contacts with the Governor's Advisory Commission on Asian American Affairs. The Pittsburgh Chinese Restaurant Association (PRCRA) may be doing something, as well, though I'm not sure.

Some folks contacted me about this. Wasn't sure how to proceed. Referred them to this thread.
