HV, I like that picture. I think I saw it before but didn't notice that the guy pedaling is apparently the one who crashed. You'd have to be extra careful about potholes!

Sure, there's a personal bias because I'm the photographer, but...

This is kind of cool, but then when I think about the poverty that has to exist to make this seem practical... Well. I have to admit it's not so much fun when it's not voluntary.

On a geekier note, I'm surprised those wheels survive that kind of load.

I thought this was kind of neat, but would have rather seen those out on the road...

My mind can't comprehend the fact that he's wearing SIDIs. Kind of ruins it for me.

But the goggles, man! The goggles so make up for it.

Did anybody see the article about Sidi in the new

velonews. Dude has been making them from hand since

like 1960 with the same tools and stuff. Pretty rad.

@lyle actually the guy in the seat holding his crashed bike is billy demong. he crashed with 2k to go in the 2008 Cascades Cycling Classic, bike was useless. chris horner (of astana) came up on him, told him to get on, and brought him 2k uphill to the stage finish.
