Second Annual

Try-A-Bike Jamboree

Sunday August 12

Flock of Cycles is excitedly proud to present a FREE chance to look at and ride loaner bikes--unicycles, tandems, tall bikes, single speeds, recumbents, bikes with baskets, commuter bikes with panniers, fixies, trailers, e-assist bikes, cargo bikes, and whatever else we can scrounge up.

Plus, learn to load your bike on a demonstration Port Authority bus rack!

Car parking available - Bike-based tailgating strongly encouraged!

Helmets required. Adult sized bikes. Teens welcomed if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

We are pumped for this year's event!

-Bigger, longer, and during BikeFest.

-The Recumbents will be back and probably a pennyfarthing, more cargo bikes and e-assist bikes

We had a few inquiries about having a swap meet at the same time. It is too much for us to organize formally this year; however, if you want to bring some stuff and do it trading-blanket style, we'll find an area under some of the shade trees for people who want to self organize swaps.

People are also welcome to picnic on the grass. No dogs please. Bathrooms, vending machines and toilets are available at the neighboring Zone 5 Police Station. Car parking is available adjacent to the Bud Harris Cycling Track. Please do not use the Police station lot for parking.

We need volunteers and all kinds of loaner bikes in good working order. Details here!

Ha! That almost looks like a "comfort bike" interpretation of the genre!

Oh don't think I haven't at least thought about it. But I want a big one.

No snickering.

That's basically a 36" unicycle with a training wheel. *drools*
