Urban Adventure Race in Pittsburgh in late May

The Amazing Race Pgh Style - Pittsburgh Urban Adventure Race
So this really says adventure - you sign up (deadline is April 30, 2009) with two friends and show up on race day (May 30, 2009). The course is a mystery until the race starts - the secret course includes treking, canoeing, biking and some mystery challenges and treasure hunts along the way. There are 3 divisions - coed, all female and all male.
Entry is $70/person and includes canoe, paddles, life jackets, t-shirts and a post race party.

The race is being organzied by REI and Urban Adventures which organizes similar races around the country.

hmmm does sound like fun. i did place in the pirate bike triathalon two years ago
