Fun Event Saturday: WPW Spring Kick-off

Bounce into Spring with the Western Pennsylvania Wheelmen

When: Sat, April 25, 10am – 1pm

The Western Pennsylvania Wheelmen, one of the longest running cycling clubs in the region, will be holding their Spring Kick-off this Saturday in North Park.  This is a chance to find out about WPW, and get to know your fellow cyclists and club members.

According to the club, they “will ride once around the lake and then another loop up and over the ridge opposite the skating rink (or not).”  Ride leaders will be sprinkled throughout, so naturally the ride will break up into several groups. They’ll meet back up in the parking lot, and break into at least two groups – a faster group (A-B) of more aggressive riders, and another group looking for a friendlier ride (B-C). Route for the B-C ride is at http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path

Not sure if you are an A, B, C, or D?  They’re there to help out and welcome you to the Club!

Where: Pearce Mill Rd at N Ridge Rd, Allison Park, PA (North Park, Parking lot across from Ice rink parking lot, near Olympia grove) (map)
Ride Leaders: Jim Logan  jimlogan@verizon.net; and other ride leader
