Hot of the presses! Be the first to get our new Bike Commuting 101 Guide at Hothouse!

lou_101Our brand new Bike Commuting 101 Guide is sure to turn some heads

cover_101We’re just about ready to launch our newest publication into the world.  In partnership with the City of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, and the Sprout Fund, we’ve created a fun, comic-book style guide on the basics that you need to know for  commuting by bike.  The guide is full of safety information and commuting tips.  Everything from how to ride predictably and safely to methods for carrying cargo is jammed into this 28-page booklet.  You may recognize the main character in the guide as the same person from our Pittsburgh Bike Map.

Copies of the guide will be available tomorrow, for free, at the 7th annual Hothouse in Bakery Square, the Sprout Fund’s summer fundraiser party.  We’ll have an area set up to showcase the guide as well as our new Bike-Friendly Employers Program.

After the party, the guide will be available at select locations around town, for free.  Stay tuned for when we have our official Bike Commuting 101 Guide launch party in the next few weeks.

Ride your bike to Hothouse!

We will be providing FREE bicycle valet parking at the party.  Just look for the signs and roll on in.  We’ll take care of the rest.
