Be Heard: Schenley Park Master Plan – Taming the Car

Your input is needed to help shape the future of the parks!

The Parks Conservancy is holding public meetings this fall in conjunction with their update to the Regional Parks Master Plan, originally released in 2000.  They would like to talk with you about your favorite park: what works, what doesn’t, and what needs their attention as they plan for future projects.

Their second meeting, about Schenley Park, will be held Saturday, October 23 at 9:00am at Pittsburgh Science and Technology Academy (Pittsburgh Science and Technology Academy, 107 Thackeray Ave, 15213).  They’ll start with an open dialogue and then move into the park for a mobile workshop about the importance of people over automobiles in terms of Park access and enjoyment.
