Friday August 12: Kickoff BikeFest and Show Off Those Leg Muscles While Dancing the Night Away!

Summer is for riding bikes and this year’s BikeFest is just around the corner. So grab your bike and dust off your dancing shoes because BikePGH’s BikeFest Party is not to be missed!

Our largest party of the year kicks off BikeFest in style, and raises funds to support BikePGH’s advocacy efforts. Following the party will be nine more days chock-full of tons of great bike-themed events, created by cyclists, for cyclists.

THE PARTY BEFORE THE PARTY: THE VIP EVENT 6-8PM

Join us early for amazing food and drinks to help us raise serious funds for our mission. Enjoy music by DJ BusCrates! Kevin Sousa of Salt of the Earth and Pittsburgh Magazine’s 2011 Chef of the Year, is back to cater this special VIP event!

For $100 per ticket, you can attend VIP Party and help stimulate Pittsburgh’s bicycle infrastructure in a meaningful way.
Included with the VIP Ticket is: one BikePGH Membership, admission to the BikeFest Party VIP event + Main Event, 5 drink tickets, 5 raffle tickets, and food by Kevin Sousa.

BIKEFEST PARTY MAIN EVENT 8PM-Midnight

After the VIP event, the main event will shift into gear with DJs spinning tunes, raffles, a photo booth, beverages (both alcoholic and non), and an amazing silent auction. As always, there will be tons of swag raffled off and available to bid on in the silent auction from bicycle-themed art, to bicycles, bike tours, gift certificates, components, and more. Get down to DJs Edgar Um and Pandemic Pete spinning tunes followed by the beats of Lungs Face Feet, a live horn based dance band!

• VIP Event: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
  • $100 per ticket – includes admission to Main Event as well
• Main Event: 8:00pm-12:00am
  • $40 general admission/ $30 for BikePGH members
• Where: Pittsburgh Opera, 2425 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 [map] (Ride a bike! There will be tons of indoor bike parking.)
• Why: To raise funds for BikePGH’s advocacy efforts (and to have a great time doing it!)

VIP PARTY (6PM-8PM): $100

BikePGH eschews exclusivity so we want to make sure people of all financial circumstances can attend our party. That’s why we’re offering a Student/Limited Income ticket. (8PM-12AM): $20
