Wed. Aug 15 BikeFest Event: FREE Outdoor screening of the 80s classic American Flyers

“Bike-In” Outdoor Movie

For BikeFest 2012, Pittsburgh Filmmakers presents the 80’s classic “American Flyers,” starring Kevin Costner, on the lawn of the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. This is a free movie screening open to anyone.

Sports physician Marcus persuades his unstable brother David to come with him and train for a bicycle race across the Rocky Mountains. He doesn’t tell him that he has a cerebral tumor. While David powerfully heads for the victory, Marcus has to realize that the contest is now beyond his capabilities.

Movie will start when it gets dark, around 9pm. In case of rain, the movie will move under the huge tent.

PCA is located at the intersection of Fifth Ave and Shady Ave in Shadyside.
