Where: Upstairs at Bar Marco, 2216 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15222
Visit the Event Page to RSVP!

It’s time to get together, share stories, build community, and make Women & Biking Zine Issue 2! The first Women & Biking Zine night and resulting Zine Issue 1, Yet We Rise, We Ride…, was a great success, and we’re excited for the next one.

This event is for women who bike, women who don’t bike, women who are considering biking, and men who support any of those choices! With your participation, we’ll create the Pittsburgh Women and Biking Issue 2. We’d love for you to write a page or two for this new zine, and bring it to read at the event.

Write down an experience you had biking or what you think about biking. Sketch an image if you’d like, and we’ll put it all together at the hangout! The zine will be 5.5″ x 8.5″ (portrait – the size of a sheet of paper folded in half). We will create copies of the zine for everyone to keep!*

We’ll have biking zines, in particular women’s biking zines, from the CLP’s zine collection to read and discuss while we have drinks† and snacks. There will also be paper, pens, and other materials to create more pages during the hangout.

This event has limited space, so you must RSVP to attend! Click Here to RSVP

* There is a suggested $10 donation to help cover costs of making the zine and food, but no one will be turned away. Each participant will receive zine issue 2.
† Bar Marco is generously donating their space to us for this event. They will have a cash bar, so don’t forget to bring some tip dollars and please tip well to help them cover their costs!

This event is a part of BikePGH’s Women & Biking program.
