Getting To PedalPGH 2014

Directions & Parking

NEW THIS YEAR: Pedal PGH will start and finish at the Southside River Front Park under the Birmigham bridge. Please note that parking is very limited and we recommend parking near the Southside Works and biking down to the start. Click here for directions from Google.

Parking
Bike Parking
We encourage people to ride their bikes to Pedal PGH. It’s free and you won’t have to deal with finding a parking spot for your car. There will be bike parking at the start/finish area. Please bring a lock, as you are responsible for your ride.

Car Parking
BikePGH will be setting up in the parking lot under the Birmingham bridge. Please be advised we do not recommend parking here as it is very limited and will most likely be full before you arrive.

Free parking: On Sunday mornings, there is plentiful, free street parking all over the South Side, near the start of the ride. There will also be a free parking lot at the 5 Hot Metal St, at the Union of Electrical Engineers.

Paid parking: There are several parking garages in the South Side, including several in the SouthSide Works itself. If you choose to park in a garage, make double sure that your bike is not on TOP of your car before entering the garage.
