Bike(PGH) to the Ballgame is just around the corner. Here’s everything you need to know about PNC Park and our FREE Bike Valet – the first bike valet ever at the park!
When is Bike(PGH) to the-Ballgame?
Tuesday, September 15th at 7:05pm, Pirates vs. Cubs. All “BIKE” ticket holders gain entry to the 5:30pm pre-game business happy hour at The Corner at Stargell Gate.
How do I purchase tickets for Bike-to-the-Ballgame?
Visit pirates.com/bikepgh and use the code BIKE to select seats in our section!
Where can I park my bicycle?
At the Bike Valet on Federal St. A bike valet works similarly to a coat check or car valet service. When you drop off your bike (no lock needed!) you’ll be given a ticket. And when you return we’ll take the ticket and give you your bike.
How much does the bike valet cost?
It’s FREE! Tips will be accepted as donations to BikePGH.
Do I need to bring a lock?
Please bring a lock in case we run out of room at the valet. However, if parked in the valet your bike will be kept secure by our staff.
When will the bike valet be open?
From 5:00pm until the end of the game. Please pick up your bicycle as soon as the game is over.
What can I bring into the ballpark?
Please review the PNC Park gate policy and be aware that certain items may not be permitted in the park. Each guest may carry one small bag, backpack or soft-sided cooler into the ballpark. You can leave items on your bike like panniers and water bottles at the bike valet, at your own risk.
What’s the best way to bike to PNC Park?
Use your printed Pittsburgh Bike Map or click here for an online map to help you navigate around town. You can ride directly from home, park your car nearby and bike in, or find a Healthy Ride station to rent a bike to ride in.
What should I wear?
Dress in your finest BikePGH swag! If you have a bike-themed shirt, or better yet a BikePGH shirt or cycling cap please wear it! We want to show our love for bikes and biking at the game. The BikePGH staff will be wearing our Clemente shirts or our 2015 BikeFest shirts.
