BikeSafe, an initiative of The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine through funding by FDOT (Florida Department of Transportation) created a great playlist of traffic safety videos, including one specifically on how to ride safely on sidewalks.
This video illustrates safe riding techniques and good practices when traveling on a sidewalk. Knowing how to ride safely on sidewalks is important, especially for kids, who often learn how to ride their bicycles on them. But remember in PA, a bicyclist may not ride on the sidewalk in a business district unless permitted by traffic-control devices. Check out this video and let us know what you think!
