OpenStreetsPGH visits the Strip District and Lawrenceville

3.5 Miles of free family fun

Grab your walking shoes, bikes, and yoga mats and come play on the car-free streets of Downtown, the Strip District, and Lawrenceville on Sunday, July 30. OpenStreetsPGH is a free, all-ages event that’s building healthier, more connected communities.

Join us for fitness workshops, kids activities, shopping, brunch, community arts, and special promotions presented by over 100 local businesses and organizations.

  • Participants will also be able to enjoy a bike helmet giveaway at Healthy Ride, Fencing Demos, sidewalk sales, Vine Rewind music festival, boxing classes and more!

July 30th Doughboy to Downtown Route

The 3.5 mile route stretches from Market Square along Penn Avenue from Downtown to the Strip District, and Butler Street from Doughboy Square to 47th Street in Lawrenceville. Fitness pass

Get $5 off an OpenStreetPGH t-shirt when you visit all three fitness hubs along the route this Sunday!

Pick up an OpenStreetsPGH fitness pass at a BikePGH tent located at each fitness hub. You will automatically receive two hole punches when you pick up the pass.


Volunteer sign-ups close Friday @ 5pm
