Bike crime.

I found this while looking for the second video on Pogan's assault on Long.

Jeez.

I'm pretty sure my heart just stopped.

The biker probably started his thrill-seeking behavior with a hula hoop and some lighter fluid, then progressed from there. ; )

Some guy in a Carrera 4 gave me the finger and I let my temper get the best of me. Sorry :(

LOL. O.k. here's how little the american media relates to biking. The news commentator says "we're coming up on some traffic..." Like the car/truck traffic is going to stop a bike? Really? Oops.

Thanks, Mick!

He's not a real news commentator. It's a fake, with a bike inserted into an actual chase video.

The police vehicle in front, which doesn't look like the others, was originally the vehicle being chased. They edited some flashing lights onto it, then inserted the cyclist image.

The video portion looks pretty convincing, but they didn't do such a good job with the audio, I'd say. It needed more convincing voice actors.

Neat video though.

Dang, nice work though.

The commentators sounded like typical news idiots to me.

I totally bought it.

Mick- LOL, yes, I was just reading up on a study of this common behavioral transition.

The funny thing is, there are plenty of opportunities for bikes to outrun traffic on the California freeways in real life.

Or on the Parkway East here, for that matter.

I often fantasize about pulling a big sound system down the eliza furnace trail during the evening rush hour, blaring either Queen (bicycle) or Sammy Hagar (55).
