Bike stolen from yard in Morningside
My Girlfriends Dad had his bike stolen from his fenced in yard over the week-end. We are of suspicion that a pack of kids from east liberty moved through morningside looking for an easy bike to steal. He had left the bike in the yard at exactly the wrong time without it being locked up!?!?!?! Dohhh!!!, and the neighbors reacted too late. It is an older model trek hybrid bike, it is forest green, and the left handlebar has a built in side view mirror, the side-view mirror and the forest green color are what really seperate this bike from others, the mirror is all black and of good quality, unlike many found in stores today. please call luci at 412-491-5745 if anyones sees this bike or myself Nick at 412-977-5129...sorry but no pictures to produce at this time...be on the look out in the east liberty area for young teen riders, with a forest green trek bike...a neighbor heard one of the kids say in the alley that they should "steal a bike from morningside in order to make there trip to east liberty faster"...it is possible that this bike might be left around the neighborhood by these kids in the E. Libert area, probably near Peabody High School and most likely without a lock. if anyone finds an unattended trek forest green with left side view mirror, please call us so we can come I.D. the bike....My girlfriends father really needs this bike!! thanks to all who took the time to read over this, much appreciated!!
