I've talked to about a dozen people over the past 2 weeks who have had their tires popped in Bloomfield around West Penn. All of them have parked their bikes and returned to flat tires. All are caused by a needle or something going through the sidewall.
Has anyone else had this happen to them too?
Either way if you're locking up in that area try to take your bike inside or keep it in sight.

Can we, uh, pin it down to a particular stretch of street and/or a time of day? How long does a bike have to be out there before this occurs? Any chance we can get an army of cameras to watch bits of street?
