Cane creek thud buster

Has any one tried the thud buster , I would like to lessen the shock of the big bumps and not loose too much energy , I commute and run 700 x 35c , weight is not a factor if it works ? I have new rims would this help them , I am a big guy 6'2 260 , ride a steel hybrid KHS ,

May I suggest riding on wider tires? I switched from 700x38 to 26x2 (different bike, but used to use 26x1.5) and I think the difference in comfort is huge. It's like riding in a Cadillac versus a Jeep. With wider tires you can also lower the PSI which will also result in more comfort. Used to ride at around 80 PSI and now I ride around 50. Don't really notice any difference in effort to cycle either

They work. I am your size, and run a 700x50 tire on my "road" bike. I bought a Thudbuster to use on a fat bike, but it was not necessary with 3.8" tires! What size seat post? You can have this one for cheap, it is 27.2mm.
