these bike lane installers have existed in the past, used more for navigating treacherous potholed sections. when you find a bad section of road ride it a couple time, figure out the best way to navigate the potholes bump free, and then a can mounted on a chainstay activated by a brake lever (a certain non-brake using segment of a cycling community is well setup for this, with ununsed cablestops already in place) is ready to trace your frogger path through pothole town. or you can just write all over the place... or make not so straight bike lanes.
