Disturbing Hit and run in Florida

I hate posting or reading about cyclist getting injured or killed. But this is so over the top that my blood is boiling and I need an outlet to vent. “FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Fort Lauderdale Police arrested 27-year-old Axel Esteban Inostroza Monday for allegedly hitting a bicyclist with his car, driving away and trying to dispose of the body in a wooded area… Fort Lauderdale Police said the driver was “fully aware” of the crash and did not stop. Police said Inostroza drove two miles with Camlin on his back window until he reached his home in Pompano Beach… once home, Inostroza picked up Camlin and tried to throw his body away in a wooded area. Camlin was taken to North Broward Hospital with what are described as life threatening injuries and he’s currently in critical condition.” http://miami.cbslocal.com/2013/12/17/police-arrest-alleged-hit-run-driver-who-tried-to-dispose-of-body/ So the cyclists was alive when he was tossed into the woods! I just can’t comprehend the evilness of all this. How can someone do this to another person? This isn’t the detached shooting of a person with a gun, or even the callousness of hitting a person with your car and leaving them on the side of the road. He took a breathing critically injured person and threw them away like a piece of litter.

I'm a Facebook friend of a woman cyclist in Fort Lauderdale. If I get any more info that isn't in the press, I'll pass it along here.

How does one drive two miles with someone on the back window? I'm waiting for the real report.

I'm guessing kinda weaving down the road with blurry vision, spouting obscenities about someone being transgressive enough to get in front of his car. Just a guess.

I'm going with "Ohshitohshitohshit, I gotta sober up before I get arrested, so I don't get more points on my license."

Yep, that would be my guess too. People do crazy, stupid stuff when they can't face the consequences of their mistakes.

Because, surprise surprise, then they'd have to ride a bike to get around and risk getting killed by people like themselves. What goes around comes around.
