My son already knew about this from reddit. It was #1 on Pittsburgh whatever that is. I think it is the best thing anyone has done for biking since BikeFest.

Thermoplastic bike symbols run about 95 USD. General white tape, I'm not sure but there has to be a reasonable supplier out there on the interwebs. Some of that plus a propane blowtorch is really all you need to make it official looking & durable. Not a good kickstarter project due to subversion, otherwise I'd say let's get the donations rolling.

A Facebook friend pointed out that the photo above managed to get the one "Welcome to My Neighborhood" bus that has the message in English (minus a word or two where they replaced a window but not the decal). There are a couple dozen of these buses with the same message in 14 other languages.
